Sidebar  is an upscale jazz lounge, whiskey bar, and elegant dining restaurant set on East University Drive in the heart of Downtown Edinburg. 

The experience brings together live jazz, a curated whiskey, wine, cocktail program, and an elevated dinner menu, creating a refined setting for guests to savor an evening from first drink to last course. 

What sets Sidebar apart is the rarity of that combination in the Rio Grande Valley — a single space where sophisticated nightlife, serious craft cocktails, and elegant dining exist together, rather than scattered across separate venues.

For five years, Sidebar has partnered with Deutsch & Deutsch Fine Jewelers, hosting exclusive events for brands including Cartier, Gucci, and Mont Blanc (to name a few) bringing a level of prestige to the Valley rarely found outside major metropolitan areas. 

Complementing this is Sidebar’s dedicated art gallery, a curated space within the venue that showcases fine art and rotating exhibitions, turning the space into as much a cultural destination as a culinary one. 

Sidebar was born as a passion project of owner Dr. Robert Puig, who envisioned bringing this caliber of nightlife, art, and dining to the Rio Grande Valley.
