Vino Veritas

When Michael and I first started talking about opening Vino Veritas, our vision was to create a place where people could discover wines they simply couldn’t find at the grocery store or big box retailers. We wanted to seek out family-owned vineyards from around the world, many of them with generations of winemaking behind them, and introduce our community to thoughtfully farmed, beautifully made wines that truly outshine the commercial brands most people are used to seeing. Along with that came quality craft beers, a hidden speakeasy with exceptional cocktails, and carefully selected meats, cheeses, and accompaniments that deserved to be on the table with those wines.

Over the last almost two years, we’ve watched something really special happen inside our little blue cottage. Neighbors have become friends, old friends have reconnected, couples have made us part of their date nights, families celebrate milestones here, and complete strangers end up talking over a glass of wine like they’ve known each other for years. It seems that people are still looking for a place to slow down, enjoy quality food and drinks, listen to incredible local musicians, and simply spend time together.
