Premier Mental Health & Wellness

Premier Mental Health & Wellness is independently owned and operated by Lauren Hughes, APRN, PMHNP-BC. We have been providing mental health services since February 2020, right before COVID, when people ended up needing it most. Since then, the practice has grown to add and educate additional mental health providers to achieve Lauren's mission of not only increasing access to mental health care, but access to compassionate mental health care. Additionally, Lauren has cultivated a supportive environment where mental health providers can practice, collaborate, and grow without without the constraints of a productivity- and technology-driven corporate model.

Premier has remained a community-focused outpatient mental health practice dedicated to making high-quality psychiatric and behavioral healthcare accessible, compassionate, and personalized. Despite the complexities of working with insurance, we stay committed to accepting many commercial insurance plans because we believe access to compassionate, high-quality mental healthcare should not be limited to those who can afford to pay entirely out of pocket.

At Premier, we provide comprehensive services for children, adolescents, and adults, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, therapy, and specialized treatment options. Our team believes mental healthcare should feel more personal and intentional, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. We take the time to understand each patient's unique needs, experiences, and goals while combining evidence-based treatment with genuine compassion and connection.
