At ChicTails Pet Boutique & Spa, grooming is never about getting as many dogs through the door as possible. It’s about giving each dog the time, patience, care, and individual attention they deserve.

As an owner-operated grooming studio, I work one-on-one with my clients and their dogs, allowing me to build real relationships and become familiar with each pet’s personality, coat, comfort level, routine, and individual needs. I believe a great groom is more than a beautiful haircut. It is also about how a dog feels throughout the experience.

My approach is especially centered around dogs who may need a little more understanding, including seniors, anxious dogs, special-needs pets, and dogs who simply do better in a quieter, more personal environment. I do not believe in forcing a dog through an experience simply to achieve a certain look. Safety, comfort, humanity, and the dog’s well-being will always come before vanity.

Honesty is also a major part of how I work. I believe pet parents deserve realistic recommendations about their dog’s coat, maintenance needs, grooming schedule, and what can safely be accomplished. When a coat is severely matted, for example, I will choose the safest and most humane option rather than putting a dog through hours of painful dematting simply to preserve length.

ChicTails was built around quality over quantity. Every appointment is approached with intention, attention to detail, and respect for the individual dog in front of me. From a puppy learning about grooming for the first time to a senior who needs a gentler pace, the goal is the same: to provide professional grooming without losing sight of the animal receiving it.

I want pet parents to feel confident knowing that their dog is not simply another appointment on a schedule. They are being cared for by the same person who owns the business, performs their grooming, learns their preferences, notices their changes, and takes personal responsibility for the experience they receive.

Beautiful grooming matters. But trust, safety, compassion, consistency, and doing what is right for the dog matter even more.
