CKMD Dance and Fitness Studio is located in the Houston area of Katy.

Founded in 2021 by mother-and-daughter team Beverly Bascus and Chantelle Duesbury, CKMD was created with a simple belief that dance should be welcoming, accessible, and fun for everyone, regardless of age or experience.

We offer choreography-based dance classes for children, teens, and adults, including K-Pop, Hip-Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical, Jazz Funk, Shuffling, Dance Fitness, and more. Our classes are designed for real people who love to dance, from absolute beginners stepping into a studio for the first time to experienced dancers looking to develop their skills, perform, and compete.

The CKMD difference is our sense of community. We believe you don't have to fit the traditional image of a dancer to belong in a dance studio. Our goal is to maintain an encouraging, judgment-free environment where students can learn at their own pace, build confidence, make friends, and experience the joy of dance.

For dancers looking for more, CKMD also offers performance and competition opportunities. Our dancers have performed at Texas A&M basketball games at Reed Arena, Sugar Land Space Cowboys games and other community and sporting events, and our competitive dancers participate in regional competitions and dance conventions.
