Ephesians Six Jiu Jitsu

Ephesians Six Jiu Jitsu is a Christian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Pilot Point, Texas, founded by world-class competitors and coaches Deise Leonanjo and João Matheus Assonitis.

Our mission is to use Jiu-Jitsu to build strong bodies, disciplined minds, confident leaders, and a Christ-centered community. Inspired by Ephesians 6:10–18 and the Armor of God, we believe the lessons learned on the mats extend far beyond Jiu-Jitsu.

We offer programs for kids, teens, women, adults, and homeschool students, creating a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Our academy combines high-level competition training with character development, discipline, respect, faith, and family values.

Our coaches bring extensive competitive experience, including World and Pan American championship titles, while remaining committed to helping every student grow at their own pace.

At Ephesians Six, we don’t just teach Jiu-Jitsu — we build people. Our goal is to create a place where families can train together, friendships are built, faith is strengthened, and every student is encouraged to become the best version of themselves.
